HELLO EVERYONE!

 

Thank you so much for visiting Modern Style Mom!

 

My name is Sarah Dam-Chambers.

Most days my name is Mommy-Mommy-Mommy.

Born in Charleston, WV to a Chinese mama and Vietnamese daddy.

 

My parents sailed to the states empty-handed to experience the “American Dream”.

 

Like a ‘traditional’ foreign couple, they had hopes of their daughter becoming a successful doctor, lawyer, and/or marry some

rich Asian guy with a global enterprise.

(I added the last part?)

 

To their surprise, that DID NOT happen!

At all.

 

Soon as I turned 18, I worked my butt off as a Hair Stylist. (which back then was criticized for)

 

I mastered the art of human connection by establishing organic relationships

through social media, and behind-the-chair, where all the “shrink sessions” takes place.

 

After 2 decades of digital marketing experience, I am humbled from the opportunities Modern Style Media was given,

to partner with some of the industry’s leading luxury brands.

 

The confidence I gained, motivated me to take a “leap of faith” – where I dived into the Modern Style Studio. 

 

I was raised in Charlotte, NC, where I happily married  Jeremy Chambers, 

the man of my dreams.

 

You know the old saying,

“marry a good man and not a rich man”.

Well I’m a “breaker of chains” because

I married a good man and made HIM a

rich man. ?

 

We discovered our strength together as a team; and decided to combine our values to build a legacy for our three miraculous children,

Liyah, Sydney and Jason.
And now, 2 fur babies, Nova & Rocket.

 

Having an Asian mom that’s First-Generation-American, our children are fascinated by the blend of both cultures, so they embrace every aspect of it.

 

At times it’s hard for me to believe – the man I’ve always dreamed of – has helped me embrace the best of parts me, while loving me so deeply.

 

Every day is a new day; we are still growing as parents, applying our style of teaching, along with our parents’ teachings, to raise good humans in this confusing millennial world.

 

Neither one of us grew up wealthy, just happened to get rich off of Love.

 

It’s a delicate balance between motherhood and being a working wife.

Even though I consider myself the “modern day” Proverbs 31-Wife,

 I know I am not superhuman.

My worst fear is drowning in an unfamiliar world and losing myself in it.

 

Modern  Style Mom 

Is a luxury travel and lifestyle guide every stylish mom should experience.

 

 This platform is dedicated to all the strong moms; the unapologetic ones,  the ones who sprinkle positivity into the universe, the ones who overlook society’s judgements, who continues to support self-made women, and the ones who proudly raises her child – in her own Modern Style.
