My name is Sarah Dam-Chambers.
Most days my name is Mommy-Mommy-Mommy.
Born in Charleston, WV to a
Chinese mama and Vietnamese daddy.
My parents sailed to the states empty-handed to experience the “American Dream”.
Like most traditional foreign families, they had hopes of their daughter becoming a successful doctor, lawyer, and/or marry some
rich Asian guy with a global enterprise.
(I added the last part)
Well to their surprise, that DID NOT happen!
At all.
I’ve always known my purpose here on Earth is to make my parents proud and to be a real life superhero. There’s real strength in being someone people can count on.
I’ve mastered the art of human connection by establishing trust through client relations, social media, and behind-the-chair at Modern Style Studio is where all the “shrink sessions” take place.
I was raised in Charlotte, NC, where I happily married Jeremy Chambers, the man of my dreams.
We discovered our strength together as a team; and decided to combine our values to build a legacy for our three children,
Liyah, Sydney & Jason, & 2 fur babies, Nova & Rocket.
Every day is a new day. We’re not perfect, but we’re still learning and growing as parents, doing our best to raise good humans. Neither of us grew up with much, which is why working hard to give our kids a better life is our ultimate goal.
Motherhood and being a working wife is a delicate balance. As much as I wish my family could have all of my time, I know it wouldn’t be worth it without the sacrifice.
