Florida fun with family… making memories with our babies before it’s too late.
We are beyond blessed to witness our children building beautiful memories with their grandparents. It is a miracle that all of their grandparents are active and healthy.
Growing up, I’ve never had the opportunity to get to know who my grandparents were. Both sets of grandparents lived in Vietnam. My grandfather on my mom’s side passed away with lung cancer before he made it to the states. My mom’s parents are both Chinese. I met my grandmother when she entered the states in 1989. Her and I were pretty close and would spend lots of time together watching Asian novels and eat chocolate.
Years later my dad’s parents came over to America but lived across town so we would visit them every weekend. Shortly after, my grandfather had liver failure and died. As a child, I always wondered what it would feel like to meet the people who gave my parents life. Although I’ve only had the pleasure to meet my mom’s mom, I’m still sad that our relationship didn’t last long before they went to heaven.
This is why it means so much to me to see my parents interact with my children. My heart is so full!
I’ve always dreamed of making enough money to take my parents and children around the world. Not quite there yet, but we’ve been fortunate to be able to travel a week at a time with them for the past few years around the east coast.
We’re hoping to some day plan an annual family vacation with our children and all of their grandparents.
Here’s a recap of our Florida-Fun vacation.
Hubby and I are pretty in pink.?
I think it is so cute when hubby and the kids coordinate their fashion.
Disney Fun with my favorite girls. ?
Hanging around Disney Springs.
Daddy and Mommy ?
My dad is having way too much fun. ?
Family photo must. ?
I can never sit still. During our road trip, I brought fabric, needle, thread, glue, and made us Mickey and Minnie ears to wear to Magic Kingdom.
Here are our Minnie ears.?
Shopping with the family is so much fun. (Hubby hated it but he was a good sport.)
Universal Studios was our favorite park! Fast passes are mandatory, those lines were crucial!
My cute parents.
Siesta Key Beach is the most beautiful white sand beach we’ve ever seen. The sand is as soft as confection sugar. Water was crystal clear.
I made a pair of barefoot sandals as a beach accessory.
It relaxes me watching my loves building sandcastles.
My girls are growing up way too fast.
The boys.
Sprinkles Cupcake ATM
Me and my mama.
And one of these days, my girls are going to take their old lady out on the beach too. ❤
