WHERE TO STAY IN SAN FRANCISCO

Traveling to a popular city like San Francisco can be  super exciting – and overwhelming at the same time.  With thousands of rooms to choose from – how do you know which hotel is in the best location?

What’s a reasonable price for a hotel in the center of the city?

These are questions we ask ourselves while searching for hotels.

Before entering a big city – Create a “to do” list in advance.  This makes it easier to map out the distance, convenience, and cost of transportation.

Some people may consider booking a room farther  out of the city for lower rates. But don’t let those rates trick you. Saving  50-100.00 may end up costing you more in Uber rides. Not only that – you don’t want to waste time in traffic.

It’s inconvenient and you’ll miss out on an opportunity to capture the city’s true beauty.

For a place like San Fran – trust me, you wouldn’t want to miss a thing!

  This lifestyle concept boutique hotel greets you kindly with its warming eclectic vibration. Service and staff were both very pleasant – what a fantastic way to start our day! Customer service is a big deal to us. [ well… to me.? ]

For so many reasons;  I believe in the Golden  Rule, I value good service because I value good people. You should never have to hate your job so much it makes you an angry individual. It’s not fair to any of us. I know how hard I work to earn the income I deserve.  This is why in my mind it’s only natural for me to feel that I deserve the best.

We grabbed a few cocktails and enjoyed each other’s company for a few hours, then back upstairs we went!

 

Our  favorite features of this hotel are its preserved  historic designs and wall of art.

Hotel G partnered with Creativity Explored, a nonprofit arts center for adult artists with developmental disabilities. This organization gives these artists the opportunity to curate, showcase and sell their artwork. What an awesome cause!

What won us over was their story, and how they strive to make you feel like you are in your home away from home.

Jeremy is a sophisticated guy who is easily pleased by simplicity. Me on the other hand … it just depends on what mood I’m in on that particular day, lol. I normally go for the boutique hotels or modern with crisp white linen. This hotel is a combination of both of us. Which made the experience  amazing!  Overall – classy, clean, quiet, simple  and relaxing. We picked the perfect place in San Francisco, and we plan to return to Hotel G-SF. Our new “home away from home”.
