Thank you so much for visiting Modern Style Mom!
My name is Sarah Dam-Chambers.
Most days my name is Mommy-Mommy-Mommy.
Born in Charleston, WV to a Chinese mama and Vietnamese daddy.
My parents sailed to the states empty-handed to experience the “American Dream”.
Like every “traditional” foreign couple, they had hopes of their daughter becoming a successful doctor or a lawyer – or marrying some rich Asian guy with a global enterprise.
(I added the last part😜)
Well, well, well….
That DID NOT happen!
I am a licensed hair, makeup & wardrobe Stylist of 19 years.
Raised in Charlotte, NC,
Happily married to Jeremy Chambers, the man of my dreams.
You know the old saying,
“marry a good man and not a rich man”.
Well I’m a “breaker of chains” because
I married a g o o d man and made HIM a
r i c h man.
We discovered our strength together as a team, and decided to combine our #relationshipgoals to building a legacy for three miraculous children,
It is a delicate balance between motherhood and being a working wife.
Even the “modern day” Proverbs 31-Wife needs support. My worst fear is drowning in an unfamiliar world and losing myself in it.
I created this diary as a creative outlet to share the honest life of a wife and modern style mom.
My home rules and views are based on personal experience.
I am by no means a conservative, but rather unorthodox.
A divergent dame with traditional values.
Hubby and I are deeply in love with one another and every day we are learning new ways to grow as parents in this millennial world.
Neither of us grew up wealthy, just happened to get rich off of Love.
Having a mom that is First-Generation-American, who faught her entire life for freedom, love and acceptance; our children are fascinated by the blend of both cultures, so they embrace every aspect of it.
For us, we know we are blessed beyond the stars.
Thank you for taking the time to look into our world.
We enjoy reading your sweet comments and connecting with you.
Hope our love story brings you as much joy in your heart as it does for us.
With All of Me, Sarah
